Turn the paperwork pile
into data you can trust
Unfela reads invoices, receipts and order e-mails on your Mac, checks every value against the document, and hands the month to your accountant.
macOS 26 · Free for 50 documents a month · Nothing leaves your Mac

Here’s what I take off your desk.
Read the document. Check every value. File the original. Send the month. You only look at what I’m not sure about.
I read every document the way you would, only faster.
PDFs, scans, order e-mails and their attachments. Vendor, number, dates, amounts, tax, IBAN, tax ID.
Confirm two documents from a vendor and I offer to read the next ones on my own.
Drop files into a folder; they are read as they arrive, even with the window closed.
| Status | Vendor / Source | Total |
|---|---|---|
| Kessler Maschinenbau | 52,854.34 EUR | |
| Northwind Trading | 1,767.75 EUR | |
| Brightwave Media | 18,522.00 GBP | |
| Maple Street | 141.56 USD |
I never call a value right unless I can point at it.
No confidence percentages. A value is verified when it is next to the right label and passes its checks.
IBAN checksums, tax IDs, totals that add up, dates that cannot be swapped.
Select the right text in the document and it becomes the value, with its location as proof.
I name the originals so you can find them in five years.
{year}/{vendor}/{date}_{vendor}_{number}, or anything you like.
A document waiting for review keeps its name. A wrong name is worse than none.
Same file twice? You review it once.
I pack the month for your accountant.
The table, a summary, and every original named date_vendor_number, matching the table.
Per currency, with tax. Unconfirmed amounts are listed, never summed.
A new e-mail with the package attached and the summary as the body.
| Currency | Total | VAT | Docs |
|---|---|---|---|
| EUR | 61,287.41 | 9,785.12 | 29 |
| GBP | 22,832.00 | 3,805.33 | 6 |
| USD | 1,204.10 | 94.12 | 3 |
Never silently wrong.
Every field has one of three states, and you always know which. That is the whole promise.
Found, labeled, checked.
The value is in the document next to a label that fits, and it passes its checks. Use it.
One look from you.
I say why: a swappable date, two candidate totals, an AI proposal I can’t find in the text.
Not there, not invented.
If the document doesn’t say it, the field stays empty. Optional fields don’t nag.

Measured, not promised.
Right values, field by field.
Every field of 100 invoices, receipts, e-mails and scans, checked one by one.

Questions
Does anything leave my Mac?
No. Documents are read on your Mac and stay where they are. Unfela keeps paths, extracted values and your confirmations in a local database. On-device AI, when it runs, is Apple’s.
Do I need Apple Intelligence?
No. Rules and templates read most documents on their own. With Apple Intelligence on, on-device AI helps only when important fields stay unverified, and its proposals are never Verified unless they are found in the document.
Which countries and languages?
Printed invoices and e-mails in English, German and Turkish today, with more languages coming. Structured e-invoices (Peppol, XRechnung, Factur-X, ZUGFeRD, UBL-TR) are read from their data, whatever the language. Dates, amounts and currencies are understood in their local formats, and CSV follows your region’s spreadsheet.
What does my accountant get?
A ZIP with the month’s table, a plain summary with totals per currency, and every original named date_vendor_number, matching the table’s file column.
What are the system requirements?
macOS 26 or later on a Mac with Apple silicon.
